Privacy policy

Mentioned is operated by Albertini Consulting, LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you use Mentioned, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Questions go to hello@mentioned.report.

Your email address, when you sign in, ask us to email a free snapshot, or join a waitlist.

What you ask us to check: the website address, business name, questions and competitors you enter, and the report we produce from them.

Payment records. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and Stripe’s reference numbers, never your card details.

A one-way hash of your IP address when you run a free snapshot, used only to limit abuse. We don’t keep the address itself.

Cookies that keep you signed in and carry your sign-in between steps. We don’t use analytics or advertising cookies.

To produce and deliver your reports, to email you about them, to sign you in, to take payment, and to keep the service from being abused. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.

If you ask us to email a free snapshot, we may send up to two short follow-ups about it over the next week. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and we stop if you buy a report.

We rely on these providers, each of which handles data only to provide its part of the service:

• Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage
• Vercel: hosting
• Inngest: running report jobs
• Stripe: payments
• Resend: email delivery
• Cloudflare Turnstile: telling people from bots on the free snapshot form
• OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Perplexity: the AI assistants we ask your questions to. They receive your questions and your business and competitor names, not your email address.

To check your public footprint we also look your business up on Google Business Profile, Wikidata and Wikipedia, and crawl the public pages of your website.

Your reports stay in your account so you can come back to them. We keep your information until you ask us to delete it, except where we must keep payment records for tax and accounting.

Email hello@mentioned.report to get a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or have your account and reports deleted. We will do it and confirm by email.

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and email account holders about material changes.
